My Advice

It's okay to change careers if the path you previously envisioned is not the path you want to follow. It can be scary and challenging, but it allows you to be open to new opportunities. Try to reflect on what fulfills you professionally and start working towards that.

My Background

The recruitment area came about after I finished my law degree and my master's degree in labor law in Portugal. I always thought that my life would be connected to defending causes and helping people through law, but the reality was quite different from what I imagined. So, two years ago, I joined recruitment, where I can help people in another way: by finding good opportunities in the job market and helping the companies find the perfect match for their structure.

The international perspective of recruitment that I have has given me some insight into the differences that exist in the labor markets of different countries. I am one of those people who changed careers and countries in search of a career that fulfills me on all levels, personally and professionally.

Here I am now, recruiting in Ireland, lucky enough to be able to learn a little more every day alongside people who are very good at what they do.
