My Advice

Do specific research on why you want to work for a particular firm. There are a multitude of jobs in Accountancy Practices and you will often find yourself with a number of interviews. Being able to ascertain why the firm you are meeting is of interest and how they can specifically help you develop will go a long way to helping you secure your ideal role.

My Background

Having graduated in 2011, I moved to London and have spent the last 8 years recruiting into the Public Practice Sector. I built up and subsequently ran the Public Practice desk at a national recruitment company for over 5 years before joining Morgan McKinley in 2017. Over that time, I have worked with a wide range of mid-tier and boutique Accountancy firms in London and the South East, recruiting roles across accounts, outsourcing, audit & assurance and tax, from Assistant up to Director level.
