Tom's original specialism was within the accountancy and finance market, however over the years, his remit has now grown to also cover operations, HR, procurement and marketing. My Advice

My advice to any prospective candidates is to ensure you maintain close contact with your consultant throughout your job search and to outline all of your requirements from your very first conversation including being fully up-to-date on all aspects of your CV.

My Background

I graduated from Loughborough University Business School with a 2:1 degree and moved straight into Finance temporary and contract recruitment within financial services. I was able to gather a full understanding of accountancy and finance in banking within a very short period of time which allowed me to build strong relationships with candidates and clients. I supported a number of Senior Managers with all of their finance hiring, in some instances placing entire Finance functions. Due to my success in the London market, I was given the opportunity to cover regional finance recruitment across the UK for our larger FS clients as well as London. I have since moved onto Morgan McKinley, where I manage a team, delivering contract and interim assignments into medium and large retail/investment banking clients. I have once again created outstanding relationships with a much larger client base which has allowed my knowledge of accountancy to increase and puts myself in a better position than my competition to better understand my client's needs. Due to my many years of experience within this market, I have been able to meet and work with a large number of candidates, a network which I am continually looking to grow and diversify
