Before moving into recruitment, I spent 8 years working in sales within the hospitality and events industry, selling venues and building relationships across a wide range of clients. During my 20s, I had the pleasure of working at high capacity venues such as DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes and Silverstone Circuit, where I learned the art of sales, communication, and relationship building. I’ve always thrived on getting to know people and understanding their needs, which made the move into recruitment a natural next step. At 30, I made the leap into the industry, bringing with me a strong foundation of transferable skills and a genuine passion for connecting the right people. I enjoy the resilience recruitment demands and embrace the ups and down, just like in events, the highs and lows keep me driven and constantly learning.
