Morgan McKinley is currently partnering with a major Irish retail bank to hire for a SME Account Negotiator in their St. Stephen's Green location.
This is initially a 11-month contract through Morgan McKinley.

Your Role:
Negotiate and create individual payment arrangements on outstanding business mortgages, term loans & current accounts through empathic inbound and outbound call handling.
Your Team:
- You will play a vital part within the small team to ensure an efficient operation of daily tasks.
- You will monitor the daily queues and progress cases for the attention of the L4 where appropriate.
- The Bank is committed to supporting an efficient and dedicated unit catering for the requirements of maintaining a very low arrears/delinquency profile on all business accounts.
- With the continued growth of the book you will be part of a dynamic team who will ensure that the portfolio is managed and arrears are controlled to enable The Bank to maintain a good standards and endeavor to prevent an escalation of the SME arrears.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct inbound and outbound telephone activity on customer arrears portfolios.
- Gather information from customers to validate repayment offers.
- Negotiate the required repayment plan to settle the outstanding balance/arrears.
- Meet individual performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Review, maintain, accurately update and amend account records on the Company's collection systems.
- Meet objectives relating to quality call handling.
- Comply fully with the Bank processes and procedures.
- Comply fully with the industry regulatory procedures directly relating to the Bank.
- Conduct initial investigatory work to ascertain potential new information/address for the customer.
- Working in a professional and timely manner in a busy and challenging Unit.
- Giving advice to a customer of the regulated financial service provider and arranging a financial service for a customer of the regulated financial service provider.
Requirements:
Essential
- Leaving Certificate (or equivalent qualification) minimum of 5 passes in 5 ordinary level subjects including Maths and English.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Good numerical skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong PC skills
Desired
- Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)/Accredited Product Advisor in Loans and Regulations
- Current understanding of; CPC and SME
- Prior telephony experience in either a collections or sales environment
