We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to lead and strengthen mental health programmes within a growing community-based setting.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong clinical grounding and leadership capability who is ready to oversee programme strategy, drive performance outcomes and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, sustainable programme impact and alignment with organisational and community needs.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Strategy & Delivery
- Lead the development and implementation of casework, group work and community-based mental health initiatives
- Ensure programmes are aligned with service frameworks, funding requirements and community needs
- Monitor and drive achievement of KPIs and work plan targets
- Identify service gaps, barriers to participation and areas for improvement
- Develop outreach and engagement strategies to increase accessibility and impact
- Oversee resource allocation for efficient programme execution
Team Leadership & Professional Development
- Provide regular supervision, mentorship and guidance to staff
- Support reflective practice and professional growth within the team
- Build a collaborative, high-performing and client-centred culture
- Guide staff in managing complex mental health and dementia cases
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with agencies and community stakeholders
- Organise outreach events, roadshows and engagement platforms
- Mobilise community resources to strengthen service delivery
- Represent the programme in external engagements and networking platforms
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Track programme KPIs and funding requirements to ensure timely compliance
- Monitor budgets and expenditure to ensure financial prudence
- Prepare consolidated reports and performance updates for leadership and funders
- Ensure adherence to operational standards and service protocols
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to organisational initiatives and cross-functional projects as required
Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in social services, mental health or healthcare settings
- At least 3 years of clinical experience working with mental health and/or dementia clients
- Supervisory experience preferred
