Job Description

We are working in partnership with a client specializing in information systems technology, for their staffing requirements. These positions are based in Singapore, which is the Regional HQ (APAC).

The Role

The IT Manager (Business Partner) will have coverage over APAC. Responsibilities include managing a team of business analysts to align the organisation's IT Plan with business strategy, preparing proposals and proposing recommendations to stakeholders. Key contact points will be APAC stakeholders and Sales companies across APAC.


  • Manage the IT Portfolio for the organisation's APAC Sales group companies
  • Conduct reviews of group companies' existing system landscape, align IT plan with Regional IT Solutions Architecture
  • Risk management and product delivery reviews
  • Initiate regular progress updates and liaise with regional stakeholders
  • Oversee and organise IT solutions with solution architects to design, discuss, assess feasibility and summarize overall solutions, to build future-state solutions
  • Work with business to prepare business cases, defining key benefits

Desired Skills, Competencies and Personal Traits

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT Business Partner engagement and management
  • Background in Consultancy/Business analysis or Project Management, solutions assessment and recommendations
  • Experience in both Consultancy and Business IT environment would be advantageous
  • Strong experience in stakeholder and team management
  • Possess deep analytical skills and resource management skills
  • Critical thinking and creativity required
  • Ability to work collaboratively, influence and negotiate

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology with experience in Sales companies' processes

Travel Requirements (Post-Covid)

Travel is seasonal 20-30%, primarily to the South-Asian Region
