Programme Executive (Community Outreach & Volunteer Engagement)

    About the job

Step into the Heart of Community Impact

Imagine spending your first month directly connecting with community partners, organizing an engaging neighborhood roadshow, and welcoming a fresh cohort of dedicated volunteers. As our Programme Executive, you will not just manage administrative tasks-you will be on the ground, designing, executing, and evaluating social service initiatives that directly uplift local families and individuals.

Working alongside experienced social service professionals, you will translate organizational goals into practical community solutions, from coordinating home visits to building lasting networks with corporate and institutional partners.

    What You Will Be Doing

    Programme Implementation & Execution

    • Plan and deliver targeted social work initiatives and community outreach events (e.g., roadshows, local service drives).

    • Track emerging trends in the social service sector to continuously refresh and enhance programme impact.

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align service delivery with community needs.

    • Support your Reporting Officer in evaluating programme effectiveness, gathering participant feedback, and refining work plans.

    Community Engagement & Direct Support

    • Map and mobilize community resources to support vulnerable groups.

    • Assist the team in frontline community services, including conducting home visits and coordinating medical escorts when needed.

    • Gather on-the-ground insights and qualitative data from multiple sources to inform future interventions.

    Volunteer Leadership & Network Building

    • Mobilize, guide, and mentor volunteers to ensure seamless execution of community activities.

    • Build strong, sustainable relationships with community partners, student groups, and corporate volunteer bases.

    • Implement volunteer engagement and retention strategies to build a dedicated volunteer pipeline.

    Governance, Budgeting & Reporting

    • Monitor project milestones and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) align with funding agency requirements.

    • Track programme expenses to maintain fiscal discipline within approved budgets.

    • Consolidate field data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.

    What We Are Looking For

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for drafting proposals, stakeholder correspondence, and impact reports.

    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a genuine people-first mindset.

    • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, can-do attitude.

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

    • Prior experience in event management, programme design, planning, or execution.

    • Practical working knowledge of social service practices or community sector frameworks in Singapore.

    • Fresh graduates with a strong passion for community work are welcome to apply.

    Why Join Us?

    • Direct Impact: See the immediate, positive effect of your daily work on the local community.

    • Structured Growth: Receive mentorship from experienced social service leaders with opportunities to sharpen your project management and volunteer leadership skills.

    • Collaborative Environment: Join a supportive, purpose-driven team committed to making a tangible difference.
