Management Accountant

Overview

An established manufacturing business with a long-standing presence in Limerick is seeking a capable and commercially aware Management Accountant. This role will support senior leadership in making informed operational and strategic decisions through accurate cost analysis and financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost base
• Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify efficiencies, savings opportunities and procurement improvements
• Support inventory management processes, including stock level monitoring and participation in stock takes
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Contribute to internal audit activities and ensure adherence to financial controls
• Provide clear, actionable insights to influence operational decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Professional accounting qualification
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to business improvements in previous roles
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
