Our client is seeking an experienced finance professional for a 6-9 month fixed-term contract based in Cork. Operating within a high-volume corporate environment, this role requires an individual with extensive experience handling transactional billing and revenue processing cycles for the EMEIA market. Due to the urgent nature of this contract, candidates with little to no notice period will be prioritised.
Manage daily cash applications, maintain customer master data records, and process manual and pricing adjustments accurately.
Oversee credit hold releases and support various legal entities and manual country processes across the EMEA region.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's order-to-cash framework to deliver exceptional service standards to all designated markets.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customer service, finance, and credit teams across the wider international business.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements within the financial workflow and monitor industry trends to enhance current administrative programs.
Take personal ownership of monthly key performance indicators, implementing improvements where targets are not being met.
Ensure absolute compliance with all internal controls, SOX requirements, and local Service Partnership Agreements.
Provide necessary documentation and support for both internal and external auditing procedures.
Adhere strictly to all corporate policies and handle ad hoc financial requests as dictated by business needs.
A third-level degree in finance, business, or an equivalent professional financial certification.
Proven experience working within a multinational environment, with a preference for individuals from high-volume corporate backgrounds.
Prior experience or exposure to highly regulated sectors such as the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries is highly advantageous.
Strong technical proficiency in mainstream ERP platforms, with Oracle or SAP experience considered a distinct benefit.
Advanced skills in standard Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
Fluency in written and spoken English, with an additional European language such as French, Portuguese, or Italian being highly beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the discretion required to discuss confidential and sensitive financial matters across all organizational tiers.
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
