This is a pivotal position where your primary objective will be to drive operational excellence while actively supporting sales and elevating key client relationships. This role is tailor-made for a hands-on professional with a robust background in life, pensions, and investments administration within a fast-paced brokerage or wealth management environment.
Responsibilities
- Play a central role in elevating the client experience, ensuring that operational workflows directly enhance the customer journey and support client retention.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, high-net-worth clients, financial advisors, and external life company/provider partners.
- Actively support the firm's sales function by ensuring the administration and operational frameworks can seamlessly handle increased business volume and pipeline execution.
- Proactively identify new business leads
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive operational and administrative experience within financial services, specifically drawn from a wealth management, comprehensive financial planning, or high-volume life and pensions brokerage environment.
- A deep, technical understanding of complex pension structures, life assurance, investment products, and broader wealth management solutions.
- Holding relevant financial services qualifications; the Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) designation (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of enabling business growth and supporting sales through operational efficiency.
- A hands-on, pragmatic professional who isn't afraid to get into the details of daily administration while maintaining a high-level strategic view. Possesses excellent problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills.
