The role:
Our client is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead the sales team by driving initatives and business expansion. The role will focus on identifying new clients and also managing existing relationships. The position requires a commercial astute leader who can convert insights into action and expand into a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
Manage, coach, and review performance of the sales team, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
Develop and execute strategies to boost sales, expand offerings, and build strategic partnerships for long-term profitability.
Oversee high-value customer accounts with full P&L responsibility by negotiating commercial agreements and foster client relationships.
Lead tendering processes, create tailored value propositions, and target new business opportunities across sectors.
Monitor pricing, competitors, and market trends to optimise strategy and protect market share
Support cross-functional operations, and represent the company at internal and external events.
Experience required:
Minimum 5 years in commercial or business development roles, ideally within the oil and gas or related industry.
Demonstrated success in driving commercial growth, securing new revenue streams, and executing market development strategies.
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to execute go-to-market plans and lead customer acquisition efforts.
Financially literate with excellent forecasting, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and leading cross-functional commercial initiatives.
