An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance leader to join a large, capital-intensive organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Group Financial Control function, overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, financial planning, business partnering, and governance across a complex, multi-entity environment. You will play a key role in supporting major capital investment programmes while providing strategic financial insight to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group financial reporting, statutory accounts, and financial governance.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, audit management, and compliance with financial standards.
- Drive long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
- Provide financial oversight of large-scale capital investment programmes.
- Deliver insightful reporting and performance dashboards to executive leadership and the Board.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Partnering function.
- Support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis and commercial insight.
- Drive finance transformation, systems improvement, and process optimisation.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 8-10+ years' post-qualified experience.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership or Group Financial Controller role within a complex, capital-intensive organisation.
- Strong background in financial reporting, FP&A, governance, and business partnering.
- Experience managing large capital investment programmes and multi-entity reporting.
- Demonstrated success leading finance transformation, ERP improvements, and high-performing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
