Our client, a leading international law firm with a highly regarded Finance practice, is seeking an experienced Banking Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking lawyer (7+ years' pqe) who enjoys knowledge management, legal innovation, training, and supporting market-leading transactional teams on a full or part-time basis in a hybrid working environment.
Working closely with partners and fee earners, you will play a key role in ensuring the team remains at the forefront of legal and market developments while contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments affecting banking and finance.
- Develop and maintain precedents, standard documents, guidance notes and other knowledge resources.
- Deliver technical training and onboarding programmes for lawyers across the finance team.
- Support partners and lawyers with complex legal research and technical queries.
- Assist with thought leadership, client briefings, articles, seminars and webinars.
- Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to innovation and legal technology projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to promote best practice and consistency.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor in Ireland, England & Wales or another recognised common law jurisdiction.
- Significant post-qualification experience in banking and finance gained within a leading law firm.
- Strong technical knowledge across banking and finance transactions.
- A genuine interest in knowledge management, legal developments and lawyer development.
- Excellent drafting, research and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities.
