Role: Litigation Solicitor
Duration: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Dublin
Our client manages personal injury and property damage claims, counterclaims, and legal costs on behalf of the State, ensuring liabilities are kept to a minimum while acting fairly and ethically. Our client also implements targeted risk management programmes to reduce future litigation costs.
Joining the General Litigation Unit, you will manage a designated caseload and support the Executive Head of Litigation. Key responsibilities include:
Portfolio Management: Handle a dedicated portfolio of employer liability, public liability, motor, and property damage claims.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with State authority clients.
Legal Advice: Provide sound advice on ancillary legal matters as requested.
Legal Insights: Stay current on relevant law and practice across jurisdictions.
Qualification: Qualified to practice as a solicitor in this jurisdiction.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in personal injury/property damage litigation.
Skills: Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, strong self-management, autonomy, pragmatic approach to problem-solving and an excellent written and verbal communication, with a collaborative team mindset.
