About the Role
As Business Operations Director (HKTW), you will lead the full P&L and end-to-end e-commerce operations for our clients in the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. You will act as the strategic business partner for key clients, overseeing third-party marketplace performance, digital advertising, brand management, and operational excellence to deliver measurable revenue and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full P&L for the HKTW business, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency across all client accounts.
- Lead end-to-end e-commerce operations for clients, including marketplace listing optimization, inventory & fulfillment management, order processing, and customer experience.
- Manage and optimize performance on major 3rd party marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Tmall Global, JD.com, Amazon, HKTVmall, Momo etc.), delivering strong sell-through and GMV targets.
- Plan and execute digital advertising strategies across facebook, Google, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Wechat and other platforms to maximize ROI and customer acquisition.
- Oversee brand management services, including positioning, content strategy, campaign planning, and retailtainment initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team in Hong Kong and Taiwan, fostering collaboration with internal supply chain, creative, and finance functions.
- Develop annual business plans, set KPIs, and provide regular performance reporting and strategic recommendations to clients and senior management.
- Identify new business opportunities, support client acquisition, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership/P&L ownership role.
- Strong hands-on experience managing 3rd party marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Tmall, Amazon, or equivalent) in Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Greater China markets.
- Proven expertise in digital advertising (performance marketing, media buying, and campaign optimization).
- Solid track record in e-commerce business management, brand operations, and delivering measurable commercial results.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end e-commerce operations (listing, logistics, fulfillment, customer service, and data analytics).
- Experience working in an e-commerce service provider, agency, or brand-side operations environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar), and excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA is an advantage.
