About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Distributor Manager to lead our distributor network and drive sustainable growth across Taiwan, Singapore, and key Southeast Asian markets. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships, optimizing channel performance, and delivering profitable revenue growth in this exciting and fast-evolving region.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Management & Partnership Development
- Build and nurture strong, long-term strategic relationships with master distributors and key channel partners.
- Deliver comprehensive product training, establish clear pricing strategies, and set service standards to help distributors consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Oversee the implementation of distribution agreements, ensuring effective product placement, competitive pricing, and successful execution of promotional activities.
Market Insights & Strategic Channel Management
- Develop an in-depth understanding of regional market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes across Taiwan, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
- Design and execute tailored channel strategies for each market to maximize brand presence and sales opportunities.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform proactive strategic decisions.
Sales Performance, Forecasting & P&L Management
- Lead accurate sales forecasting and take full ownership of achieving regional sales targets.
- Manage the regional Profit & Loss (P&L), focusing on profitability, cost control, and overall financial performance.
- Regularly analyze sales results and implement corrective actions or strategic adjustments as needed to drive revenue growth.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain open, proactive communication with distributors, internal teams, and external partners.
- Provide timely feedback, resolve issues effectively, and deliver solutions to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Production, Logistics, etc.) to align on customer needs and guarantee timely, high-quality product delivery.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or distributor/channel management, ideally within the FMCG, lifestyle, or consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and successfully managing regional P&L responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics and consumer behavior in Taiwan, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in additional regional languages would be a strong advantage.
