About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and strategic social media professional to take ownership of newly positioned brand channels and help drive a fresh perception of a respected institution.
Your focus will be on developing and delivering social media strategies that increase brand awareness, deepen engagement and strengthen advocacy - all while supporting wider business objectives and commercial growth.
You'll be the voice of the brand across digital platforms, bringing its story to life in a way that feels current, credible and compelling.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and deliver a clear, forward-thinking social media strategy aligned to the brand's new positioning
- Identify new opportunities, trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand ahead of the curve
- Work closely with marketing, PR and product teams to ensure consistent and integrated messaging
- Play an active role within the wider communications function to deliver joined-up, multi-channel campaigns
Content & Community Management
- Manage and oversee all social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X
- Create engaging, high-quality content - from posts and graphics to video and paid advertising
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and enquiries in a timely, on-brand manner
- Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to extend reach and credibility
Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyse social media performance, turning data into clear insights
- Produce regular reports that highlight successes, diagnose under-performance and recommend improvements
- Continuously test, learn and optimise content and campaigns
Paid Social & Budget Management
- Manage social media budgets effectively to maximise ROI
- Oversee paid social campaigns and stay up to date with the latest advertising best practice

- Continued growth of engaged audiences across key social platforms
- Increased interaction and advocacy from both new and existing followers
- A streamlined, efficient channel strategy focused on impact
- Clear monthly and quarterly reporting that demonstrates contribution to brand and revenue growth
About You
This role would suit an enthusiastic and organised Social Media Manager who loves creating content and understands how to build genuine online communities.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of major platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A creative mindset with a real passion for storytelling
- Confidence analysing data and turning insights into action
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and work collaboratively
- Experience working with influencers would be a real advantage
