Event Management Specialist (12 month Contract - Maternity Cover)
We're partnering with a leading global financial markets company to find an Event Management Specialist to join their International Events Team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office per week, the office is based in the City.
What you'll do:
Plan and deliver world-class corporate events and conferences, both in-person and virtually, across international markets
Manage multi-currency budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure events are delivered on time and within budget
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams to develop marketing campaigns and branded assets
Track and measure event success, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients, ensuring brand standards are consistently applied
Conduct research for venues, event concepts, and best practices to elevate the attendee experience
What we're looking for:
3+ years' experience in corporate financial services event management
Strong budget management and commercial negotiation skills
Experience with event management and marketing platforms (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud)
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to travel for site inspections and onsite event support
