Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop iOS applications using Swift and MVVM architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum to deliver new features
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and complex JSON data structures
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and performance
- Troubleshoot issues and optimise app performance for scalability and responsiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years of software development experience with 4+ years in iOS development (Swift)
- Proven experience publishing iOS applications on the App Store
- Experience with dependency management tools (CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager) and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket)
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in multicultural environments
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Language Requirements:
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of iOS design principles and Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with push notifications, cloud messaging APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Japanese reading ability
