Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies and long-term technology roadmaps that align with business objectives while providing insights on emerging technology trends.
- Lead IT investment planning, portfolio management, and business case development, ensuring projects deliver strong ROI and effectively manage risk.
- Partner with senior business leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholders to drive digital transformation and maximize the value of technology initiatives.
- Oversee IT governance, risk management, compliance, business continuity planning (BCP), and support the management of Business Analysts.
- Represent IT in steering committees, business meetings, and strategic initiatives while fostering collaboration across global teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT, including extensive experience as an IT Business Partner or in a similar strategic IT leadership role.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior business executives and IT leadership to deliver business-focused technology solutions.
- Experience leading IT strategy, digital transformation, portfolio management, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (in both Japanese and English)
- Strong leadership, influencing, and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams
- Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Business Level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within the building technology, smart buildings, construction, real estate, or facilities management industry.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, IT governance, Agile delivery, and digital transformation frameworks.
- Experience managing technology investment portfolios and business case development.
- Familiarity with compliance, cybersecurity, and business continuity planning.
