Financial Controller

Brilliant opportunity to join an industry Leading PLC as a Financial Controller on a Fixed Term Contract. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for the Financial Reporting of month end activities and involved in the Annual reporting cycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the completion of month-end management accounts including consolidation
• Prepare interim, preliminary and year end accounts
• Ensure the use of best practice in accounting standards.
• Act as the key contact for the external audit
• Responsible for preparing all technical accounting memos
• Conduct detailed analysis of monthly management accounts.
• Manage a high performing team

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with strong background of auditing / working within the financial reporting team of a PLC
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation
• Embrace a culture of finance transformation and ensure processes and systems are implemented to the highest standard
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written
