Role Overview:
Lead and deliver capital projects in pharma manufacturing-from concept to handover-ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met. Work hands-on with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle: concept, design, procurement, installation, validation, and handover.
- Lead cross-functional teams and external contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, quality systems, and site procedures.
- Coordinate stakeholders, resolve issues, and align projects with business strategy.
- Oversee cost, schedule, and risk management while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field; Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years' experience managing full lifecycle pharma/biotech projects up to €3M, including hands-on shop floor work.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering documents (P&IDs, layouts), and project management methodologies.
- PM certification (IPMA/PMI) is a plus.
Technical Scope:
- Capsule filling upgrades, granule handling, new product introductions, process/utility upgrades, IBC lifting equipment replacement.
