Excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join an expanding group based in the midlands. The role of Financial Operations Controller will be responsible for the management of the financial and tax compliance processes across the business.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage, lead, coach, mentor and train a finance team
- Implement and manage the Finance Strategy
- Lead and manage the Financial Operations
- Ensure company is compliant with regulations and Tax compliance including PRSI, PAYE, VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Preparation of monthly/weekly reports - Providing meaningful management information and analysis
- Oversee the monthly management accounts reporting process
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audit processes.
- Challenge performance across the business and drive for positive change
- Champion continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
- Support the Groups SLT in the coordination and presentation of the Company's overall financial forecasts, budgets and plans.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, FCA or CPA Qualified with 5+ years PQE
- Experience leading the production of management accounts, budgets and cashflows
- Prior experience in managing, training, coaching and mentoring a team
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication and reporting skills.
- Proven record of building professional working relationships
