Role Specification: CSA Coordinator
Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Primarily on-site, 5 days per week. Hybrid work may be possible when workload allows.
Additional Requirements: Flexibility to supervise out-of-hours works (evenings and weekends) as required.
Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with our client, a high-profile pharmaceutical company based in Athlone, to support the recruitment of a CSA Coordinator. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major multi-million-euro capital project, working on-site within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
The CSA Coordinator will act as the Client's on-site representative, taking full ownership for driving project progress and ensuring delivery excellence across all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Process (MEP) elements.
Key Duties:
- Monitor and coordinate all construction activities across CSA and MEP disciplines, ensuring seamless integration with other trades.
- Oversee and promote construction safety management, ensuring full compliance with EHS protocols.
- Manage and track multiple concurrent projects and scopes, identifying in-scope and out-of-scope issues early.
- Engage in schedule, cost, and quality control activities to maintain delivery performance.
- Manage and coordinate works within live facility environments, ensuring no impact on ongoing operations.
- Coordinate and review all handover documentation, including commissioning, snagging, and pre-startup checklists.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator or in a similar role on pharmaceutical construction projects exceeding €30 million.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in MEP and construction project coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction safety, GMP environments, and operations within live facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work fronts and contractors concurrently.
- Proven capacity to drive actions, resolve issues independently, and sustain project momentum.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all stakeholder levels.
