    Location: Farranfore, Co. Kerry (On-site with occasional travel)
    Salary: €30,000 - €37,000 DOE
    Contract: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
    Start Date: ASAP

    The Opportunity

    Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organisation operating within the environmental, analytical, monitoring, and consultancy sectors. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join their commercial team based in Co. Kerry.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business development activities, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the company's ongoing growth strategy.

    Working closely with the sales team, you will provide vital administrative support while helping to drive new business opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team.
    • Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring accurate customer and sales data.
    • Generate sales reports and assist with the preparation of tender submissions, proposals, and presentations.
    • Support customer relationship management activities, responding to enquiries and ensuring a high level of customer service.
    • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
    • Coordinate sales materials and documentation to support commercial activities.
    • Manage calendars and schedules for senior sales personnel as required.
    • Handle correspondence and escalate urgent matters appropriately.
    • Support lead generation activities and assist in converting prospects into customers.
    • Undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the sales function.
    • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations when required.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

    Essential Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment and/or sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
    • Experience using CRM systems.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
    • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
    • Full clean driving licence.

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Brevo, or similar.
    • Third-level qualification in Science or a related discipline.
    • Website management and social media experience.
    • Understanding of industry trends and competitor activity.
    • Experience supporting business development or sales growth initiatives.
