System Administrator

I'm currently hiring a Systems Operations Administrator for an industry leading Media clients. You will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of IT Servers, Networks, Storage and IT Security.

The Role:
Job Title: Systems Operations Administrator
Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: 2-3 Days per week onsite in Dublin City
Salary: + Healthcare, 25 Days Leave

Skillset Required:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure / systems administration role/ level 3 position.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations best practices, including data protection and disaster recovery protocols.
• Solid experience with server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization.
• Strong administration skills for Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with SAN (Storage Area Network) storage systems.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Familiarity with data protection and disaster recovery solutions is desirable.
• Microsoft MCSE Core Infrastructure certification.
