I'm currently hiring a Part Time Citrix Engineer for a Daily Rate Contract
This is a fully remote contract that can be worked from anywhere in the EU.
This person will be working on a project to migrate and merge legacy Citrix environments and upgrading of existing environments to current releases.
The Role:
- Job Title: Citrix Engineer
- Type: 2 days working per week for 7.5 weeks initially
- Location: Fully remote - within the EU
- Daily Rate: DOE
Skillset Required:
* 5+ years' experience supporting and configuring Citrix environments
* Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops - versions 6.5 through current LTSR
* Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS)
* Citrix Federated Authentication Service (FAS)
* Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
* Citrix StoreFront, Licensing & Director
* Citrix monitoring, reporting and alerting
* Hosted shared desktops and VDI environments
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP, switches, routers and firewalls
* Knowledge of Citrix NetScaler
* Microsoft Windows and VMware environments
* Application installation, compatibility and troubleshooting in multi-user environments
* End-user migration between Citrix environments
* Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to own technical issues through to resolution and collaborate with specialist teams
* Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
* Strong stakeholder, vendor and customer relationship management
* Strong focus on information security and maintaining secure IT environments
