A leading global capital-markets firm with a significant and growing presence in Dublin.
Continued investment in its technology capability has created an opportunity for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the business in Dublin.
This is a newly created position in a new team, offering considerable autonomy and the opportunity to shape how business analysis supports future technology delivery.
Sitting between business stakeholders and development teams, you will take ownership of translating complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Your remit will span the full delivery lifecycle, including:
Defining project scope and business requirements
Analysing systems, processes and data flows
Translating requirements into functional specifications
Partnering with developers and testers throughout delivery
Coordinating UAT and supporting production implementation
Identifying technical risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks
Providing clear communication and delivery visibility to senior stakeholders
Although the role includes project-management responsibilities, the emphasis is firmly on hands-on technical business analysis.
The position would suit an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of capital markets and end-to-end transaction lifecycles.
You will bring:
Proven experience delivering complex technology initiatives within financial services or capital markets
Strong technical fluency and experience working directly with development teams
Knowledge of multiple financial products and their associated transaction flows
Experience across requirements, functional design, QA, UAT and production delivery
The ability to analyse and clearly explain complex systems, processes and data flows
Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to operate with considerable autonomy
A practical, delivery-focused approach suited to a fast-moving environment
This is not a conventional operational BA role. The successful candidate will combine detailed analysis with the ownership, judgement and technical credibility required to drive complex initiatives through to implementation.
