We're seeking an experienced Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to join a busy wholesale business.
Manage stock replenishment (manual and semi-automated MRP).
Place and track orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and expedite urgent stock when needed.
Monitor and coordinate stock movement between branches.
Handle all associated administration and purchasing documentation.
Support the team with stock management and adjustments as the role develops.
Experience in buying, procurement, or stock control in a similar environment.
Background in refrigeration / air-conditioning, builders providers, or electrical wholesale is a strong advantage.
Confident dealing with multiple suppliers and managing competing priorities.
Flexible and hands-on approach suited to a medium-sized, fast-paced organisation.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
