Mortgage Sales Advisor
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a dedicated mortgage direct sales team within a forward-thinking financial organisation . This is an exciting opportunity for a mortgage professional who wants to make the role their own and has the ambition to be at the forefront of driving and shaping innovative mortgage solutions.
You will be responsible for executing sales strategy through the successful delivery of mortgage completions in an online, digital environment.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Journey Management: Guide customers seamlessly from application to mortgage completion in a digital-first environment.

Advisory Support: Provide both proactive and reactive support and advice to mortgage customers via digital and remote contact channels.

Pipeline Management: Deliver on mortgage completion and drawdown targets by optimising the customer experience and utilising best-in-class pipeline management activities.

Credit Analysis: Provide detailed credit assessments and recommendations on mortgage applications in advance of credit reviews.

Business Development: Generate your own business from personal contacts to supplement established lead referrals from the direct channel.

Process Improvement: Identify process blockers and work closely with Sales and Product colleagues to review and refine mortgage sales practices.
Requirements

Qualifications: Minimum APA Mortgages (or willingness to work towards) is required; however, a QFA or Professional Banker designation is desirable.

Experience: Proven experience in end-to-end mortgage new business, with a track record of delivering on application-to-conversion targets.

Remote Skills: Proven experience supporting customers in both proactive and reactive environments using telephone or remote communication methods.

Technical Knowledge: A full understanding of the regulatory environment for mortgages and a track record of working with credit functions to progress applications.

Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team to ensure collective success.
