We are partnering with a prestigious global investment management firm, to hire an experienced Funds Lawyer for their Dublin office. The Role:
As a Senior Funds Lawyer, you will be a key member of the European Legal team, responsible for supporting its Irish fund structures-including UCITS and AIFs-and their global distribution. You will work on a wide range of legal matters, including fund launches, documentation updates, regulatory filings, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for fund distribution across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America
- Draft, review, and negotiate key fund agreements (e.g., investment management, distribution, and service agreements)
- Advise on fund launches, modifications, and closures, and assist with shareholder communications and regulatory processes
- Present legal updates and topics at fund board meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external counsel to ensure smooth execution of legal processes
- Contribute to the improvement of internal legal workflows and documentation standards
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified lawyer with solid experience in the investment funds sector
- Strong knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD frameworks and Central Bank of Ireland regulatory environment
- Previous experience supporting cross-border fund distribution is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong team player with high professional integrity
