We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our mission-led client. They provide evidence-based training programmes that equip organisations and communities with the knowledge and confidence to promote mental health and wellbeing. This is an opportunity to act as a bridge between world-class mental health education and organisations.
The Role
As the Business Development Specialist, you will lead the growth and management of relationships across corporate, public sector, healthcare, and education settings. You will be the face of the programme, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the first point of contact through to delivery and long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Proactively identify and engage new organisational clients to expand programme reach.
- Act as a trusted advisor to existing partners, supporting repeat participation and reactivating previous contacts.
- Manage the onboarding process and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and delivery.
- Execute proactive outreach campaigns to increase programme uptake across diverse sectors.
- Lead the analysis of client engagement surveys to drive service improvements and retention.
Required Experience:
- Experience in client relationship management, organisational engagement, or programme coordination.
- Proven track record in a healthcare, education, or regulated service environment (highly preferred).
- Experience in structured outreach, including the confidence to handle cold engagement when necessary.
- Technical proficiency with CRM systems and strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex programme pathways into clear, actionable information.
Desirable Attributes:
- A background in mental health, adult learning, or workforce development.
- Familiarity with community engagement or workplace wellbeing initiatives.
- A deep personal or professional alignment with the mission of promoting mental health.
