Warehouse Operative

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general warehouse duties, hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license, and possess a full driving license. This role involves both warehouse operations and occasional driving or delivery tasks, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles using a counterbalance forklift
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring all products are stored safely and securely
• Assisting with incoming deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized
• Driving company vehicles to deliver or collect goods when required
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license.
• Full driving license with a clean driving record
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work overtime or occasional weekends if required
