Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support our expanding operations in Cork.
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
Ensure continuous supply and optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate with operations to meet production and budget requirements.
Analyse stock data to minimise excess and obsolete inventory.
Manage vendor relationships, sourcing, and performance.
Negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms.
Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and resolve purchase order discrepancies.
Support warehouse efficiency and space utilisation.
Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Finance.
Strong organisational, analytical and administrative skills.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP systems.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, flexible approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
