Senior Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer with a strong background in procurement to join our expanding supply chain team. This new role will work closely with a senior buyer and cross-functional teams, playing a key part in supplier management, cost optimisation, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop global suppliers.

• Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and reliable lead times.

• Support and enhance procurement strategy with new ideas and market insight.

• Drive cost-reduction and manage material risk to prevent supply disruptions.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to meet operational and project needs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and component technologies.

• Promote continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the electronics supply chain and component markets.

• Proven negotiation and supplier-relationship management experience.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems.

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 7+ years' experience in electronics procurement.
