Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a thriving Fermoy based business in the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper. The successfull candidate will join a dynamic team and assist with the end to end finance requirements for the business including assisting with the prepartion of management accounts.
Main duties:
- Complete AP & AR functions
- Account reconciliation
- Payment runs and bank reconciliation
- Preparing weekly reports: cashflows, gross profit calculations, KPI reports
- Preparation and submission of all necessary tax returns including VAT returns, PAYE/PRSI returns
- Month end reporting including prepayments and accruals
- Assisting with the prepartion of Management Accounts
- Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounts
- Other related finance duties or reports as required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Ideally experience with in retailbut not essential
- Finance qualification an advantage
- Strong under standing of the wider finance function
