Senior Accountant

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a world-leading technology organisation to recruit a Senior Accountant within their Global Lease Accounting team for their Cork-based Shared Service Centre. This is a high-impact role within a centrally managed global team that supports financial operations across EMEA, US, and APAC.

This role is best suited to a technically strong accounting professional who is open to a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lease accounting cycle, ensuring accurate calculation under IFRS 16 and US GAAP.

• Ensure data integrity and validation in SAP for the purpose of audit readiness.

• Work closely with Global Real Estate and Technical Accounting teams to translate complex accounting issues into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing queries and implementing post-audit improvements.

Key Criteria:

• ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP.

• 2-3+ years of experience in financial reporting with a strong grasp of IFRS 16 and/or ASC 842.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to research technical issues independently before escalation.

• Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders across a multi-country, multi-currency environment.
