SAP FTM Business Analyst

We have partnered with a global client of ours, We are seeking an experienced SAP FTM Business Analyst to join a high-performing global team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP solutions across multiple modules including Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management. You will work closely with stakeholders to improve processes and ensure alignment between business goals and SAP technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of SAP configuration changes across FTM-related modules
- Provide functional expertise in areas such as Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), intercompany accounting, VKOA configurations, tax, and statutory accounting
- Conduct system analysis and prototyping; define business and system strategy
- Develop system requirements and create detailed design specifications
- Perform end-to-end testing, training, support procedures, and implementation documentation
- Resolve system issues and recommend SAP best practices for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders to manage project priorities and timelines
- Analyze data, develop strategic SAP solutions, and contribute to business transformation initiatives
- Maintain and update key project documents such as charters and scope statements
- Provide strategic insights to align SAP capabilities with evolving business needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of functional experience with SAP Finance modules
- Strong understanding of SAP FI integration with Sales Distribution and Materials Management modules
- Proven experience in Record to Report (R2R), statutory accounting, and cost accounting
- Familiarity with production order costing and related financial processes in SAP
- Demonstrated ability to carry out SAP configuration and specify ABAP development when required
- Solid grasp of SAP system architecture and business analysis design concepts
- Proficient in identifying areas for systems/process improvements and recommending solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of ABAP/debugging is a plus
