We're working with a leading global tech innovator on an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in Cork (hybrid). You'll be contributing to high-impact web applications and microservices used at scale-ideal for engineers who enjoy both building robust backend systems and crafting responsive frontend interfaces.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing

Build scalable and secure web applications using Python (FastAPI/Flask).

Develop rich UI experiences using Vue.js or React.

Architect and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.

Design relational database schemas (SQL) and work with modern data tools like Snowflake.

Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

Own performance monitoring, debugging, and production optimisation.

Collaborate in agile teams, participate in code reviews, and help shape system architecture.
✅ You Should Have

4+ years of experience with Python backend development.

Strong skills in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js or React).

Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native deployments.

Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Git, etc.).

SQL and Snowflake knowledge for data-driven applications.

Clear understanding of RESTful architecture and microservice design patterns.

Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.
💡 Nice to Have

Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Helm, Prometheus/Grafana, or other observability tools.

Exposure to asynchronous workflows (e.g. Celery, job queues).
