IT Business Analyst

My client is looking for an IT Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain to join their growing organisation based in Galway. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with supply chain, IT, and functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
  
  
• Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications to support ERP implementation and integration.
  
  
• Act as the liaison between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  
• Analyze, optimize, and support supply chain processes across planning, logistics, inventory, and procurement functions.
  
  
• Contribute to testing, validation, and rollout of new system capabilities and enhancements.
  
  
• Support or lead workstreams with project management responsibilities where appropriate.

• Performing software and process testing while ensuring comprehensive documentation is maintained.
  
  

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in supply chain or manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record working in controlled industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food production.
• Strong experience supporting ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Project management knowledge, experience or training is highly desirable.
