C# Engineer
6 month daily rate contract
€450-500 per day

The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced C# Backend Developer to join a dynamic engineering team. You'll play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services that power core products. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex challenges, contribute to significant architectural decisions and see your code directly impact users.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy robust and scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core.
- Work with various data storage technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis).
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system reliability and availability.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping shape the future of our platform.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on C# and .NET Core.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Monolithic, Event-Driven).
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Nice to have:
- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
