Position Title: Instructional Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join a high-impact Learning Solutions team. This role involves designing and developing engaging, multi-modal learning and performance support solutions in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Candidates must be able to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and be comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop effective and engaging learning solutions using instructional design principles and learning science.
- Conduct learning needs analysis to identify and close performance gaps.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and define learning goals.
- Develop a variety of training and performance support materials, including e-learning modules, videos, infographics, job aids, and facilitator guides.
- Use Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) to author and publish learning content.
- Create assessments (Levels 1-4) to evaluate learning outcomes and impact.
- Deliver pilot sessions and support train-the-trainer efforts.
- Maintain and update existing training materials and documentation.
- Adhere to internal templates and LCMS standards to ensure reusability and consistency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, ideally in a corporate setting
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end instructional design processes
- Experience developing various learning modalities, including performance support tools
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and LCMS platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing workflow learning or performance support solutions
- Graphic design or visual content creation experience
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies
- Experience working with internal task management or reporting tools (e.g., Asana, Power BI)
- Prior experience in high-scale global operations environments
Top 3 Must-Have Technical Skills:
- 5-8 years of instructional design and development experience
- Proven performance support experience
- Proficiency with learning tools and content creation platforms

Work Structure:
- Roughly 50% new content development / 50% maintenance of existing material
- Assigned to a specific business area following onboarding and training (2-3 weeks)
- Will manage tasks via internal tools and proactively drive progress
- Expected to handle multiple tasks and modules simultaneously
- Will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors as part of project delivery
