Due to continued growth at our Cork site, we are seeking an Aero Turbine Processor to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receipt and identification of components.
- Chemical cleaning of components.
- Carrying out inspection procedures and processes.
- Welding of turbine components.
- Blending of turbine components.
- Operating a range of machines and equipment, including EDM, CNC milling machines and surface grinders.
- Completing product process tasks in accordance with approved data (e.g. Opsheets and TPS).
- Complying with applicable quality system procedures, including process control checks, reporting non-conformance, policies, safety requirements, air cargo security, radiation safety and airworthiness requirements.
- Recording inspection results, tests, control checks, batch/run numbers and completed work to maintain accurate records, and verifying and maintaining component identification.
- Performing all tasks safely and observing good human factors principles.
- Assisting Lead Hands in achieving set goals.
Person Specification
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
- Good standard of education.
- Display an acceptable aptitude in verbal and numerical skills, as well as mechanical comprehension.
- Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
