OpEx Specialist

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Ireland, are seeking to hire an Operational Excellence Specialist for their Cork site.

We are delighted to partner with this industryleader as they grow their team in Cork. They are now seeking to hire an OpEx Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Director of OpEx, as OpEx Specialist you will be responsible for the daily leadership and management of department OpEx activities and projects across various production teams in line with strategic KPIs. Strong experience leading diverse teams and projects in a fast-paced environment would be essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively mentoring and coaching staff, ensuring efficient daily processes are activated for respective projects.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Effectively manage and report on projects to site leadership.
• Effectively use relevant technologies to assist continuous improvement projects.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in OpEx / continuous improvement roles, ideally from the pharma industry.
• Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues in continuous improvement.
• Strong track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.
• Lean Six Sigm Black Belt.
• Proven planning and technical skills.
