Operations Manager

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer in Ireland are seeking to hire an Operations Manager for their Cork site.

Reporting to the Managing Director, as Operations Manager you will be responsible for the daily leadership and management of site activities and colleagues across production, quality, logistics and sales departments in line with strategic KPIs. Strong experience leading diverse team in a fast-paced environment would be essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead and manage staff, ensuring efficient daily production and dispatch processes.
• Implement production plans as set by/alongside the Managing Director.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure close attention to detail to ensure high quality manufacturing.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong experience in production management roles at senior level, ideally from an FMCG background.
• Excellent people management experience..
• Excellent project management skills with a strong track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.
• Strong communicator with the ability to present internally and externally to senior stakeholders.
