Job Description
As a newly qualified accountant moving into an industry role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the continued success of the organisation.
Responsibilities
· Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
· Audit Support: Collaborating with audit teams and providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to analyse variances and make recommendations.
· Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
· General Accounting: Performing various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
· Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Qualifications
Recently qualified accountant with a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Skills and Abilities
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
