Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis to detect and resolve gaps, outdated information, and incomplete client records.
- Validate, cleanse, and standardize client data to eliminate inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies.
- Input and update client data in proprietary systems using information from Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation.
- Maintain legal entity data and resolve data quality issues through independent research and verification.
- Ensure data formatting aligns with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Address data discrepancies and ensure completeness so that records meet internal quality benchmarks for operational use.
- Support the management of the data lifecycle-from sourcing and validation to classification and applying quality controls.
- Work collaboratively with business units to collect necessary documentation and confirm data accuracy.
- Identify missing or incomplete records (e.g., absent hard copies, missing signatures or certifications) and follow up with relevant teams to retrieve required documents.
- Contribute to project initiatives such as system migrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test case development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, client data management, KYC, or related functions within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, regulatory data requirements, and client onboarding processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
