About the role
This high-impact role sits at the intersection of customer insight, product innovation and distribution, driving growth across bank and broker channels through data-led segmentation, compelling propositions and end‑to‑end product ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end product strategy, including ideation, design, launch, optimisation and performance monitoring
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g. pricing, actuarial, marketing, operations, IT) to deliver effective, market‑ready products
- Define and lead the overall channel, customer and segment proposition strategy to drive sustainable growth across bank and broker channels
- Develop and execute data‑driven segment strategies, propositions and marketing initiatives to deepen market penetration
- Design and implement channel‑specific product compensation and sales incentive frameworks to influence desired behaviours
- Lead customer campaigns and analyse performance to inform strategic recommendations and continuous improvement
- Ensure sales channels are equipped with robust product knowledge, training tools and up‑to‑date market insights
Requirements
- Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- 10+ years' experience in product strategy within insurance or banking
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products, with experience in partnership or channel‑based distribution preferred
- Proven ability to lead product ideation, development and optimisation in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing teams
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with strong presentation and negotiation ability
