Are you interested in working for one of the world's leading Financial Services organisations as an Executive Assistant to Group Managing Director?

 

This fantastic well know business, who based in the heart of West Sussex are seeking an Executive Assistant to join their fast-growing team. This opportunity is joining an exceptionally fast-growing business who have doubled in size within the last 18 months. This group specialises in Financial Services and are recent award winners!

 

As an Executive Assistant you will be organising meetings, video conferences, creating presentations and conference calls across multiple times zones. Do you enjoy acting as first point of contact with previous Executive Assistant experience? Do you have a 'can-do' attitude?

 

Due to the urgent requirement we are seeking an immediately available Executive Assistant as this role is offered initially on a contract basis, until the end of the year with a view to being made permanent.

 

The ideal candidate will provide top-level assistance for high level executives. They should be well-organised and be comfortable scheduling meetings and responding to emails on the Group Managing Directors behalf. Lastly, this individual should be able to draft documents and help the MD with any necessary meeting preparations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Calendar management for Group Managing Director and managing communication.
  • Organising and ensuring all logistics are in place for domestic and overseas business travel including visa, client briefings and liaising with overseas offices
  • Arranging and recording semi-annual and full year appraisals and objectives for direct reports
  • Provide support for some personal work
  • Monitor and review emails and respond as appropriate to requests for meetings, and/or bring to attention matters relevant to the day to day smooth running of the Group Managing Director
  • Liaising with external parties, meeting notes and documents for Group Managing Director

 

Qualifications

  • Previous EA/PA experience at Managing Director/Executive Level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and Financial Services knowledge
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Must be flexible in approach both with work and hours due to demand
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
